ਅੱਖਾ’ਨੂੰ ਅੱਥਰੂ ਹੀ ਨਸੀਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਕੌਣ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਆਪਣਿਆ ਤੋ ਦੂਰ ,
ਪਰ ਅਕਸਰ ਵਿਛੱੜ ਜਾਦੇ ਨੇ ਉਹ,
ਜੋ ਦਿੱਲ ਦੇਕਰੀਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ
